A free guide, offered in good faith.
By using BetterBaguio.org, you agree to these terms. They are short, and we have tried to keep them plain.

1. We are independent
BetterBaguio.org is built and run by volunteers. We are not part of, endorsed by, or speaking for the City Government of Baguio or any government office. Official websites, offices, and documents remain the source of truth for permits, payments, records, and decisions.
2. Check before you act
We work to keep information accurate and to link every public fact to its source, but city information changes and mistakes happen. Everything on this site is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free. Before you rely on something important, such as a fee, deadline, requirement, or contact number, please confirm it with the official source.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or other professional advice.
3. About the Public pulse meter
The Public pulse meter is produced automatically. AI sorts public comments on City PIO Facebook posts as happy, neutral, or upset, and it can misread sarcasm, slang, or mixed languages. People who comment are not a representative sample of Baguio residents, so the meter is not an official survey, poll, or measure of public opinion. Our privacy policy explains how the comments are handled.
4. Using our content
- The site’s source code is open source under the MIT License.
- You are welcome to share and reuse the text we write. A link back to BetterBaguio.org is appreciated.
- Official documents, data, names, seals, and logos belong to the government offices and other organizations that publish them, and their own terms apply.
5. Links to other websites
We link to official and third-party websites for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
6. Please use the site fairly
Don’t try to disrupt, overload, or break into the site or the services behind it, and don’t use it for anything unlawful.
7. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, the BetterBaguio.org volunteers are not liable for any loss or damage that results from using, or being unable to use, this site or the information on it. The site may change or go offline at any time without notice.
8. Corrections and takedown requests
If you find something on the site that is wrong, outdated, harmful, unlawful, or that exposes personal information that should not be public, please email connect@betterbaguio.org. Include:
- the page address (URL) and the part you mean,
- what is wrong or what concerns you, and
- a source or the correction, if you have one.
We review every request and aim to reply within a week. Urgent safety concerns are handled first.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
